Designing a Social Pathway to Financial Security.
A friend and experienced investor approached me with an idea: rethink how new investors learn and engage with investing to better support financial security in our communities.
Through research, we uncovered a key insight: new investors crave an accessible, social way to learn while actively investing. They wanted tools that reduced fear at entry, built trust, and connected them with peers in their own communities.
I helped shape and execute the mission:
Your everyday life should help make you financially secure.
Intuitive Onboarding: Designed a seamless onboarding process that educates while empowering, ensuring users feel in control of their decisions.
Visual Identity: Developed a design system using design thinking methodology, A/B testing, and iterative refinements to create a brand that communicates trust, clarity, and control.
Data Transparency: Prioritized user trust by designing clear choices around how data is collected and used — addressing the community’s top concern.
Social Investment Features: Integrated community-driven engagement and learning modules into the experience, making investing more approachable and less intimidating.
I built a visual identity and onboarding flow that lowers barriers for first-time investors.
Addressed critical concerns around data trust and transparency, enhancing user confidence.
